Lesvos continues to be a site of struggle in the refugee crisis. I will donate $5 from each shirt sale to Lesvos Solidarity. When I visited Lesvos for the first time as a closeted twentysomething I bought one of those tourist tees every island seems to have. I picked the design in bold primary colors that had the largest picture of Sappho, but she was still only 2cm tall. My gay little heart cried out for a souvenir.
